Prefácio: What's up, doc???

Just to remember our dear teacher Sílvia

Self-esteem, good reason to
Imagine ways of helping you;
Leaving my worries, the
Vanity, the bad and the blue
Imaginations! Noticing that you
Are really good, I am sure.

Attractiveness lives in your body for a
Long period of time;
Victim of your beauty I’ve been;
End of all sadness in my life…
Serene, when I see you I get serene.

Delight Yourself,
Endless Beauty!

Sooner or later we’ll see
Our dreams come true;
Universal psychology will
Show us that you
And I will renew us, we’ll renew.

DESPEDIDA

Grandes alegrias certamente
Os que a amam compartilham;
Ricos nos fizeste e, positivamente,
Eis que teus méritos sempre brilham;

English Absinthe

May, 31th. 2005 (02h12 PM)
[Salvador, 25 de fevereiro de 2002]

Your scent, green emerald rich
Is the invitation to orgy.
Your fascinant lips oof hot breath
Are the fire of the gods,
Are the fatal game of the lust and pleasure,
Are the silence where
The devilish fetish of souls
That burn minds and eyes:
Ilusions weaving a sweet and tragic poetry,
Magic poetry of the green star absinthe…

Null Knowledge

NULL KNOWLEDGE

By Uncle Tonie

All I know is that I know nothing.
But if nothing is all that I know.
Then at least I know nothing.
Nothing itself is not nothing.
Nothing is a void omni-absent entity full of emptiness.
Nothing is nothing more than nothingself.
I do recognize that my knowledge is nonsensically nothing.
To conclude: this nihilistic cognitive realization ended up in nothing.

P.S.: I had to stop writing this looping poem because I was starting to feel dizzy. The reason why was obvious: from the middle of the poem on, I sort of got lost since I was going full circle, and at that point I didn’t know whether all was nothing or vice versa. In other words: nothing made sense.
